Default Swirl marks in vivid black paint

Hey there. I have some work marks in my vivid black paint. They aren't real bad but I would like to take care of them. Anyone ever use the Harley scratch and swirl remover? Also after I use a scratch or swirl remover do I need to wax after? And would the turtle wax ice wax be a good enough wax after? Thanks for any info

Turtle wax black box, three step process but looks good. Truly though only buffing will get rid of scratches of any depth. The little swirls though, black box.

Will the black box leave any residue on the rubber gasket of the console? Also can I use it over the decals? They have the clear over them from the factory.

Had some intense swirls and light scratches.

Great stuff that Scratch X V2. Use a good paste wax afterwards.

Zaino is by far the best wax I have ever used. Its a very long, time consuming process, but well worth the end result. And well worth the $$$.

I second this.
Lots of people mistake Swirl X and Scratch X, both made by Mequiars. The Swirl X is not as aggressive and does a fine job on the light swirl marks made by wiping the bike down?
Start by wiping the bike down with a 50/50 blend of distiller water and alcohol to strip the wax, use the Swirl X and foam pad until satisfied with the results, follow up with a polish to restore the shine, and finish with a high quality wax. Works like a charm but does take time and tired arms since the cutting agent is so fine. Maintain with a quick detailer spray and use only high quality microfiber towels to avoid future swirls.

It's not a wax, it's a sealant. Similar in concept but basically you get longer protection. On the other hand you will give up the voluptuous finish carnuba waxes provide.

Any "swirl remover" is just a glaze, great for shining, but doesn't tend to last long. Best to use a sealing wax after. Any use of a buffer will cause swirls, don't care if it's a rotary or random orbital, it'll cause swirls with just how they make the products work.

And Turtle wax "ICE" is by far the worse crap I've ever come across. I don't care if it doesn't leave residue on plastic, it's like putting tire shine on your paint. Sure it looks good, but it's terrible for your paint. I got a bottle for free, I've tried it several times in many different situations and I'm about to give it to some other poor sap.
