Question Keepin Tires Black?

Just wondering what everyone uses to keep their Tires black and new looking? Mine are starting to look worn and I would like them nice and black again.

Thanks
-Jo

I use the Harley product for this purpose (Can't remember what it is called) - there are others that are just as good but be careful its not one that can run when it gets wet and cause loss of traction or contaminate the brake pads and rotors.

I lost a set of tires to ArmorAll years ago. Have never used it since.

Before you call BS. I mounted a brand new set of Dunlops on my bike in September and by mid month the weather had changed and I didn't ride any more until spring. I took the bike out of the garage in April and the sidewalls were all dry rotted. Nothing else touched those tires but a good coat of AA. To me, it could only be that that caused this damage. There are plenty of stories about these products but this one happened to me. As a young 20 something with a new family, the last thing I had money for was a set of tires to replace a brand new set. Just my $.02

On my car I never use anything except Westleys white wall cleaner. It will take off all the road dirt and leave the black rubber clean and black. I have never used anything on my bikes.

After I scrub the tires with wesleys I lightly coat with armorall tire shine sprayed onto an aplicator. No problems in the last 8 years
