Default How do you keep your white walls looking new?

I try to wipe the tires down with a damp rag after every ride....then I hit them with a Magic Eraser. The only issue is that the Magic Eraser falls apart almost instantly! Is there any tips or trick to keep them nice and new looking? I try not to wash the bike....I haven't yet. I just blast it with a leaf blower and then quick detail it after it cools.

With the Magic Eraser, I've found it works best of you put a very small amount of car wash in the bucket of water you use with the erasr. And I mean small, maybe like one or two drops. Get the Eraser wet, but ring it lightly, then scrub away. My white walls actually shine. Yeah, they fall apart, but they are better than bleach white.

WD 40 -- this is not a joke. Wipe it on and wipe it off.

Magic eraser dipped in water, then spray Shout! laundry stain remover on it and gently wipe down the tires. If you are gently you can get several uses out of each magic eraser. I just did my tires on Saturday. Then wipe down with a CLEAN rag or towel.

Consider Lyndall dustless brake pads if you do not already have them as they will allow for much less dust to get on the tires. I can get those for you too! They last a really long time too.

SOS pads. Dirt cheap and work great.

What ever you use (I used cycle 1 products)...make SURE the stuff is not acidic.
If it is, bye-bye chrome/polished aluminum if you don't completly rinse whatever
came in contact.

Been using these for decades. You would have to do some medieval scrubbing to get through the whitewall. My tread is usually gone before the whitewall shows it's age.
