mix up a solution in a spray bottle of 50% Hydrogen Peroxide and 50% water. Spray on, let sit for a few minutes, spray again and wipe. works great!

But don't get it on your hair. Or your nickname will be Blondie.

when you get through riding take a moist towel and wipe the bugs off and use a dry towel to wipe down the excess water. My bike is black and I never have this problem.

There's never been anything I couldn't clean off my bike with Meguiar's Quick Detailer. Just spray on & wipe off for most stuff, might take a little rubbin' for heavier stuff.

Bug guts are acidic so they may have etched the paint if left on for too long. Try a mild paint polish like Meguiar's SwirlX.

I've tried the above mentioned solutions. They all work as long as you remove the bugs guts promptly. Another one I've heard of but not tried is using a wet pantyhose. Yet another one is using a damp dryer sheet.

The 50/50 peroxide mix works well...peroxide breaks down proteins & bugs are mostly protein. Try it - you'll be amazed & just throw on some wax when done - this helps prevent them from sticking so bad.

Ditto. I add a bit of vinegar for good measure.
