I have a 07 pewter denim street bob and was wondering how do i clean and protect the paint? What kind of wax do i use?

 

I believe if you do a search on denim paint you will find some posts. We have yet to have one come through the shop so I havent any experience yet.

 

DO NOT WAX!!! I was lookin at one at the dealer today and I mentioned its a no wax bike, he looked at me and said wax will damage the finish!
made me really want one..

 

I have an 06 black denim. I use Harley Gloss after washing.
This is what was recommended in the owners manual. I have'nt
noticed any more shine to it.

I clean bikes at the Harley shop here and for denim paint we use an ammonia based cleaner (windex). I have a bottle mixed 1/2 windex 1/2 water. You can do a little more in depth cleaning/scrubbing on your own, but we don't because rubbing on the paint will add a gloss to that area, which could be undesirable to the owner.
