Default how to clean this (pic included)

how can I clean this rust/oxidation off the screws (next to the spark plugs)?

anyone have any ideas?

you can replace them.But you might be looking for problems . Just get the head bolt covers from harley you will need the ones for a carbed moter

should I replace them myself or get harley to?

would I be causing more harm than good?

Unless you plan on doing a major overhaul on your motor, don't replace them. Yes you would be doing more harm than good. Do as mtairy said and buy some covers. There are several styles/varieties that look good, are inexpensive and easy to apply. Hot Toppers makes entire kits to cover all the fasteners on your bike.

Like stated.. Just get the covers. For one it is cheap and easy. And two it really will look better than if you replaced them anyway.
