I've been told that HD's Denim Black finish has a UV protectant built in. Is this true, or is the paint protected by a clear-coat? I'm thinking of using the HD denim black touch-up spray paint... Does it also have this UV protectant built in, or is there a clear that should be used with the Denim Black paint?

When you say one top-coat, it is a single-stage paint? Is the stuff in the rattle can (basically) the same as factory finish?

I'd hate to have one spot fade in the sun... I'd almost rather have the whole dang thing fade.
