Default Cleaning Silver Motor

Guys,
How do you clean a silver motor?&nbsp\\; I've got something like oil on the left side, and I'll be darned if I can get it off.&nbsp\\; I've tried WD40 on a rag, but it didn't get it off.&nbsp\\; Anything else I can try?
Mike

So far, I have gotten by with S100 and WD40 and a rag, on cool motor.
I read here, that HD recommended Scrubbing Bubbles on a cool motor.&nbsp\\; I bought a can but haven't tried it yet.

I use the WD-40 for oil stains too. It works great.
