oxidized aluminum heads
I have a 1990 1200 Sporty that is starting to show its age. Anyone have a quick remedy for polishing the oxidation off the heads?

Get some acid and nail it.......scotch brite it for a machine finish....aluminum polish and alot of elbow grease for shine......or invest in a set of chrome covers from catalog. I got the same year bike and got tired of step sanding 600-800-1200- and polishing with aluminum polish....finally bought chrome ones.
