I was curious to see if anyone is using this film to protect their painted parts from rock chips and road debris. I am currently working on becomming a sponsor on this forum so I may sell my pre-cut Harley kits.

In the meantime, if anyone has used this product, is interested in using this product, or has general questions regarding the product, I'd be glad to answer any that you may have. I've been in the business 13 yrs. and am an expert on the product.

i was wondering the same thing. i have it on the front of my vette and it works great. i wanted it on the front of my gas tank on the harley...

 

I'd LOVE to have some made for my little air deflectors that attach to the sides of my batwing. I'm spending WAAAAAAY to much money for these little plastic deflectors that scratch by just looking at them. If you have something that will cover these air deflectors that are molded to fit I'd sure appreciate it.

 

Someone told me to use that stuff on my forks ....do you know where I can get some that would work whilst looking almost invisible?

 

My bike is in the shop being painted right now and I have been considering doing something like this to protect the new paint. How long after a fresh paint job can it be applied, and what do you do about washing and or waxing the bike with it on???

 

I appliedclear filmon my boat'sstern just above the swim platform to prevent scratches fromwaterskis and wakeboards. Never tried it on the bike. Sounds like a good idea for road trips.

 

I had the 3M film applied to the front of my Tundra and love it. My installer has patterns for most harleys and I am strongly considering having some put on the tops of my bags. Having watched him do the install, there is quite an art to it and I would not attempt it myself. Here's the websiteof the guy who did mine in Tampa.
