What can I use to make the black insert look fresh and new?

I went with the Maguiars. I trust the brand and wash my bikes at least twice a month.

It worked great. It looks even and much darker. I’ll try to remember to grab a pic.. bikes torn down while I slide the fresh motor in and upgrade the drakes and rotors. Getting ready for a 2 up 1200 mile 4 day trip.
