Seriously, it ain't that hard to figure out, The only reason a waterless wash would ever be a problem is because the person using it lacks the IQ to follow simple directions or has a serious lack of common sense. Waterless washes don't screw up paint, idiots using them incorrectly do.

what is your opinion on it? Not enough spray, or dirty towels? Water is more likely to wash the dirt away. The problem I see with waterless i the last few few wipes. don't have the lubrication water does. When you are done scrubbing with water, it is still wet, and hence the need to dry.

How about saying I like this for this reason, don't like that for that reason.

Share with people.

I only been doing waterless a year. I used to make fun of it. They should spend more time riding. Now I try to get bugs off fairing easier

Yes, just wash the darn bike around breakfast time or after supper, when the sun is low. Maybe in those hot states it is different, so I don;t want to say what kind Red Forman ____ _____ are you. Maybe it is is different.

But i am not the only person, to raise the question.

I dont believe that Harleys cleaner and polish is a WW. If it is, its not a very good one.

Not to be a jerk, but paint is only perfect one time. If you are using a duster on your paint, there is micro marring somewhere. Put a swirl finder light on it, they tell you everything you want and dont want to know
say what you will, you’re entitled to your opinions. I’m sure there are possibly better options for some but for me, this has worked the best. Different strokes for different folks, I guess? Micro marring, quite possible but finish looks great still.

It all depends on how dirty the bike is. The dirtier it is, the more you need water (to displace and dislodge ****, not because it’s lubricating in any way) and soap. Just a few bugs or dust? Rinseless wash all day long. Light dust from sitting in the garage? Waterless wash is probably okay, if you’re gentle with the towel… and are using good/clean ones.

Waterless washes are for dusting clean vehicles IMO. I don’t like using them to clean anything dirty.

Just my take after detailing vehicles for 25 years (side hustle, never the main 9-5).

This is what I did except I purchased mine from Amazon for $150. I haven’t used it yet since I had surgery about a month ago, but I’ll be ready to start detailing the bikes and our 4 wheelers when the doctor removes my restrictions.

If I have to work outside on a vehicle in the heat I use a pop up and 20" fans directly on me. I've even put a mister on the pop up frame! Gotta improvise, adapt, and overcome!
