AVOID the waterless wash theory. Fast way to ruin your clear coat by grinding in the dust and sand without washing it off first. Good luck.

lol…this made me chuckle

bottom line…you are doing it wrong

I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone harsh waterless washes…except the goofy furniture polish crowd…those dumb****s would wipe horse **** on thier bikes and then brag about how frugal they are for doing it

I know a detailer and another friend who keeps hisbikes perfect. They both expressed concerns about waterless. Dirt getting rubbed around I would think enough fluid would help Other thing is clean rags. Last year I started cleaning fairing every day, Not using a clean rag every day, so I probably did harm.

I may go back to just cleaning windshields every day

You would probably be better off with furniture polish than the waterless stuff because there is so much more of it. Probably why after 20 years, windshield still looks good, and why after Alaska and all the dust the other still looks good.

For crying out loud, how old does one have to be to know you don't wash anything in the sun? Microfiber towels only pick up so much water too. I wash my bikes in the shade and use a leaf blower to remove most of the water. Never compressed air because you'll blow water into things you don't want water in.
I then use a soft terry towel to remove the rest of the water. They absorb more. And then finish up with a microfiber towel. I've discovered some microfiber towels can actually do more damage than good so be careful to not rub too hard with one.

I think I am going to try some shoe polish next, it may be better than Lemon Pledge and I can get a "spit shine" on it like the old military combat boots.

Is Neutral the best or can I use Black on a Black bike?

What do you think? Is there a better brand than KIWI ? /S
