Griot's Products

Clay bar first, then the BOSS Correcting Cream with an orange BOSS foam pad for general removal of minor marring and defects. I recommend the microfiber correcting pad if you have specific scratches which are resistant to removal with the foam pad. Just go easy with it because it works much faster. After main paint correction switch to the BOSS Perfecting Cream and a yellow BOSS pad to really polish the paint. After that you're ready for a red or black foam pad and your choice of final wax, polish or sealant.
Griot's has a lot of good tube videos and I suggest you check some of them out. Could save you time and effort while getting better overall results. I think the G9 is pretty large for doing a motorcycle and the G8 is nearly perfect. You'll need a few hand polishing pads to reach inaccessible areas, and plenty of good microfiber cloths for final product removal and shining.

What Flex do you have? Ive had the 3401 for 10+ years. No way I would replace it with a G9, which I also have. The 3401 can do everything the G9 can but better and faster. It never stalls, super powerful. The G9 has its place but its not in the same league with the 3401 and it's not supposed to be. It's a nice DA with a great warranty.
I use both frequently and do like them both, but the Flex is the first one I grab for

Im a couple of years late on this thread, but I’m finding out in a hurry how deep the rabbit hole is. I have a G9 and a 3 inch polisher I bought from Amazon, and then here comes the snowball. I want to get a 5 inch backing plate for the G9, but I think that I have spent enough on detailing stuff for now.

Thanks to @eaglefan1 I hopped on the G9 bandwagon and never been happier. I have the 6" it game with, and bought the 3" backing plate, I use the 3" on the bike. I also purchased the Adam's SK Pro Micro, I had a problem with the SK Pro, I reached out to Adams, they had a brand new one in the mail the next day, didn't even want the other one back, so I scored an extra set of batts & charger.
As mentioned, the "rabbit hole is deep" a lot deeper than I thought. Thanks @eaglefan1
