My 01 Softail sat in a garage (Oregon) for two years ... some of the chrome has dulled a bit, almost looks like small white pitting. You can really only see it up close. It adds a dull haze to the chrome.

I've tried Mothers Polish but it doesn't seem to do to much on this bike. Usualy, the polish with come off black when it's working but rarely does it do it on my Bike. It almost seems like it's doing nothing other than confusing me.

Looking for suggestions on proper care and feeding of chrome. Any advice?

 

I like Flitz chrome polish. Alot less rubbing and works great.
