brand new bikes
My hubby and I will be taking delivery of 2 2020's in a week or so. A Scorched Orange Street Glide Special and a Vivid Black Low Rider S.
I'm looking for recommendations on products to apply to keep them looking new. I've read glowing reviews of F11 Topcoat, Last Coat, Produxa, etc. Supposedly they work on all surfaces but I'm naturally sceptical. What would you do with a brand new bike? All advice appreciated!

I have been using Zainos Show Car Polish for a dozen years. They’re online. I use their full line of products and highly recommend them. Especially with new bikes if you start with the polish it will protect the bike from the start. Especially a black bike. I have a Vivid Black Sporty and their anti swirl polish takes out the fine lines in the clear coat.
Read their instructions, but basically wash the entire bike with Dawn dish soap to get all the manufacturing grease and hand prints off it. Then wash w/ Zainos soap, dry and begin the polish. I usually put on 3 to 5 coats of polish for protection for most of the season and wash w/ Zainos when dirty. If I have time I do a full polish & detail twice a year but it’s usually only once with a wash and one coat of polish when needed. The water beads off the polish. Their stuff is really great.
I sold a 10 year old Road King with 80k on the clock and it looked almost showroom. When you clean & polish your new bikes they’ll look much much better than showroom with a deep deep shine.

I have been using Finish Kare Big White formally known as FK1000P for a long time now on my car and bike and it is such an easy product to work with.

Zainos has been around for a long time, but they haven't improved on any of their stuff. 15yrs ago they were probably a top 5, Nowadays, not so much, and that's a shame.
If I can get better, longer lasting results faster and easier with a different product I am all about it. Ive been in this game a long time and I have yet to find anything that beats Polish Angel Cosmic V2 and High Gloss combo on polished paint. But if the paint isn't machined polish to perfection, it doesn't matter what you put on it.
The "Fine Lines' you talk about are called swirls, which happens to any bc/cc system. Paint color has nothing to do with swirls since the swirls are not in the bc. You see them more in black or dark colors obviously.
Also, the hardness of the clear plays a huge part in the big picture. Soft clear on any color will swirl super easy, Suburu is a perfect example.
Whatever you like to use, use it.
