Default Getting rid of fatbob type tanks, gauges 4 a nice clean look

Folks, I want to get rid of my current fuel tank and go to a smaller tank.

Does anyone know of an aftermarket tank the size of a sportster tank/peanut whatever that mounts without having to cut off tabs etc.

I want to build a lane splitter to help ease the way up and down through bay area traffic and skinny is the new rule for me.

I may be asking to have my cake and eat it too but I want to be able to quickly and easily put the old tanks back on in case I ever get a wild hair and decide to get out of town WAYYYY out of town

Anyhow, it is for my bike in the picture below I am thinking of making some changes dash etc are gone (good riddance) I'll re-rig up an ignition point.

If I absolutely have to cut the tabs I'll just lop a few inches off the tanks.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Two points, perhaps stupid ones: that used to be a Fat Bob? Looks like a Softail frame to me. Plus, the ape hangers are much wider than the tank. If you want to go lane splitting, why not start with the handlebar?

The tanks are fat bobs or at least that is what I am calling them. The frame is a rigid wishbone. I'll be changing the handle bars as well as a few other things, fenders etc. I redo the old girl on occasion to keep her happy.

I am also probably going to put on a car tire/wheel on the rear. It will have more than a few design cues from the bike below.
