My name is Drew and I have a late 84 sporty. It has been slipping really bad. It'll rev up but won't go over 35mph. I've done all adjustment by the book and then played with it and went by the book again and it's still slipping. I've replaced the clutch bearing and the pressure plate. The clutch plates are still fairly new..haven't been able to ride the Harley much and so their only about 6 months old and still good. Put it all back together and it's still doing the same thing. I've been told something internal might be wrong...but I don't see what it could be. Clutch cable is fairly new too. Please help?
