Default Softail streched tank question...

I'm looking to get some custom work done next winter. Does anyone have any experience with some of the strech softail tanks you can buy online. Do they fit good with the stock frame or will some modifications be needed no matter what? I want it to look good, but I could save a lot of money buying a tank online than having the local custom shop make me one from scratch.

I assume from your screen name you are working on a 95? I got the tanks that are one piece without the welded on extensions. They are curved on the bottom (stock tanks are flat) which makes the frame look stretched and gives you enough room to actually wash the rocker covers. They bolted on with no issues.
