I've had several xs 650's in the past. They have become very popular and desired bikes for bobbers and choppers. 15 years ago they were available real cheap. I even gave away 3-4 of them. Wish I had kept one. Keep us posted with your progress.

Made a bit more progress tonight. Cut out the bar that the seat bungs mount to. We moved it back about 4 inches. Notched out the fender a bit too. Im pretty psyched at the rear end.

Started messing with the Controls, exhaust and we mounted the rectifier.

These are some type of harley passenger pegs.

Im hoping that exhaust will corkscrew around each other and then run up in between the frame and rear tire.

Looks awesome!! I actually found one of those bikes that came in the scrap at work the other day. I pulled it out to look a little closer. The engine is locked up and no rear wheel setup but other than that it was pretty much complete. I can buy it for little to nothing and so I may do that. Your bike will be great insperation if I do. Oh by the way, love the tank mods and the rear fender.

Not much progress the past few weeks on the bike. I did start polishing my side covers tonight and I'm pretty psyched how they turned out.





Completely unrelated but my compressor blew up tonght.... Sucks!!
