Yea bought from Jim at Auto Brokers. I live in Tampa so close to West Palm. Can't wait to add more gear to it. That is the bike Olsen. Never seen a white chopper like that. Matches some of my tribal tattoo's.

So I had the bad fortune of snapping the rear drive belt on my 05 TMC Blackhawk 240. I'm considering installing the new one myself, and while shopping for a new one I find very few references to Thunder Mtn on belt compatibility pages. Anyone change theirs? Will any 05 softtail belt fit? If not, what should I be looking for?

Thunder Mountain Choppers were built by the same folks that own Thunder Mountain Harley Davidson out in Colorado. I'll bet their parts dept can helpl you.

Thumbs up

Me too on creating a TMCC forum. I will pick mine up this Monday, a 2006 TMCC Sterling RM. Can't wait!! Wanting to get a backrest and rack also. Forget pricey, I can't even find one. It would be great to share ideas and knowledge on the upkeep and modifications of these fantastic machines.

I am interested in a sissy bar backrest/rack for it. The rack/rest seems a bit pricey, so fabricating one may be the next resort unless anyone has another source? And yep, I'm in with TMCC forum idea.

Hi all
Am new to this forum and trying to get some info on thunder mountain spitfire i have just bought an import in the UK as a restoration project! has been a bit neglected!! lovely bike i am hoping my wife will ride it as she rides a sporty at the moment.I know they had a problem with the frame cracking at the rear side rails near swing arm! this one has already been beefed up at that point but wondered if there was any other weak points that anyone knowes about?

Cheers Tom

Hello Tom, I don't own a spitfire so cant help you there, Just wanted to welcome you. I have an 07 TMC Keystone and love it. Hopefully someone will come along and be able to give you the scoop on any issues with the spitfire. Best of luck to you!

Hi Cruzer

Cheers for that, i have been in touch with Thunder Mountain Harley Davidson in Colorado it apears that they owned TMCC and were aware of the frame issues with the spitfire at the point that i mentioned to them but do not know of any other problems with the frame! so hopefully all should be well.So as soon as i have completed the registration process i will strip it down for rebuild. I will post a pic when finished.

Tom

I'd love it if someone could scan and share a copy of the owner's manual. I contacted the dealer and they are out of stock. I'd be glad to pay.
