I didn't think the Geico bike
looked good at all. But I'm
sure some thought it did.

The Web bike was cool.

There have been a few bikes to come out of the American Chopper that I have really liked but overall I think that there have been more to come out of Biker Buildoff that I have liked a lot more.

Roland Sands has rolled some nice bikes out on that show (Glory Stomper, No Regrets) as has Jesse Rooke. I almost forgot abo ut the cool bikes some of the Japaneese builders have produced (Chica, Kimura)

If you want to see something that'll make you drool, check out http://www.falconmotorcycles.com/ These guys take a piece (frame, engine) from a classic British bike and build a recreation/reimagination of the bike it came from...unreal!!!

As far as the OCC/PJD saga goes... I think it's kind of disturbing to hear a father talk about his son the way Sr. does. I also think it's one thing to have problems with your son, but it's an entirely different thing to allow someone else to talk s**t about your own flesh and blood. I can't imagine wishing failure on your son

Default Paul JR Designs

Anti-V bike: I could have come up with a better design then that. I would have put the gas tank under the seat and build the a webtank that you could have seen thru. Then put a nice spider in on the backbone inside the tank. But yellow and black ?? Didn't work for me.

Geico bike: I would have put a fairing on it that looked like the shape of the geico's head with two headlights where the eyes are.

I like it. And his Black Widow was my personal favorite.

Well that might be true considering the "free" advertising they would get from the show.

Sounds to me like people should recognize there are two different disciplines in bike building. It is similar to wrestling. There is the blood, sweat, tears and colliflower ear version and then there is the high flying, backflippin, cage match version. The guys building bikes in the shed out back are the blood sweat type and the guys bolting on computer fits are the show and entertainer types. Truth is, neither is fit for the other. The computer showman type are gonna make the money like the Hulk Hogan's of the world and the blood and sweat types will enjoy and appreciate their "work" because it is a part of them. Two different disciplines.
