AIH LSC Passenger peg mounting bracket

AIH LSC Passenger peg mounting bracket
2007 American Ironhorse LSC
Bike does not have a passenger peg mount. I bought the mount. From the looks of it, appears as though I have to remove the RHC but am not sure how to do that. From under the bike I have a large bolt. From the top of the RHC I see 2 smaller bolts. Do I just remove the 2 top bolts, remove the RHC, mount the bracket then remount the RHC?
