Custom Trike Frame Needed
Hope this is a good place to post this question. I am starting to research different sources for a custom trike frame. Guess I'm just looking for another place to spend money. Can a few of you that have seen or know of where to get a frame or rolling chassis let me know.. I am building new TC 98" motor with a pro-charger and I want to put it in a trike frame, something radical!!
Thanks

Define Radical ..... Humm . Lets See if I can
Back in the 70's myself and my neighbor built up a trike, it had a mahogany hearst with a pine casket in it. Showed it at the Rat's Hole Show and won the most unusual class, the next year we added a trailing set of wheels and made it into a 5 wheeler, added a wrecker boom and again won the most unusual class the next year. So my definition of a radical design is something that doesn't look like every other trike on the road. Maybe have some sort of semi-cockpit look, not just a motorcycle front end with a pair of wheels following it. If I just wanted a 3 wheeler, I'd probably buy a Tri-Glide. So this is why I'm trying to find a custom shop or source for a frame. Just buying a 2 wheel conversion kit is not what I'm after.
Thanks

My buddy Pete is selling a trike frame... here is his add he posted on a local froum... let me know if you need any info
TRIKE FOR SALE....
The frame was made by a company called Wilmac, out of California in the late 70's. I will attach a picture of the style of body I have, but make sure and note that the bodies I have are already painted.(Heavy metal flake, in many different colors, from Wilmac). This frame is already welded up to accept a swing axle VW trans. Meaning also that your donor VW is how you title the trike, THERE IS NO TITLE FOR THE FRAME. If the right person is found I also have many parts to finish the project, fuel tank, tour boxes, seats, front end, ect... Again if anybody know anyone who you think may be interested, have them contact me. Or this would be a great money making project for someone to take on. If you check the site Brothers of the Third Wheel, there are many guys who have been injured or with back problems that will pick these up for any where from $3000-$15,000. This trike is the real deal, you just bolt it together. Not some hillbilly, welded piece of crap. Thanks Pete.
$300-FRAME
