07 AIH Legend and Judge
Ok guys Im new to the Chopper, Custom, whatever you want to call it...Ive rode crotch rockets for a while but finally came to my senses so cut me a lil slack!
Here's my question/concern..
There's a shop in AZ that has a New 07 Legend for $17,900 and a Judge for $15,900. Im 6ft tall and the Judge "feels" best to me but that is of course without RIDING them. Of course they didnt want me just out joy riding and I wouldnt want to do that till I was ready to pull the trigger and buy one or the other anyways....
At $15,900...no warranty, which they claim they DO have a company that will sell you a aftermarket warranty.
BUT being so new to these machines, I understand getting the S & S motor worked on but what about other parts on the bike. The dealer is telling me they didnt reinvent the wheel on these bikes. He said they used Harley parts. I cant remember what he used as an example but he said the levers and most parts were from 88-98ish Softtail Harley.
Any truth to that? Are most parts on this bike going to be easy to get if by chance they fail or get f'd up?
Please tell me the PROs and CONs of buying a 07 AIH!
Thanks for yall help!

oh yeah he said for instance the front fender was build on a harley design, so the width was the same as a harley fender.
Pegs and stuff, he said if you change those your probably going to want to go aftermarket to customize it you own way.....but with this company out of business are after market companies going to continue to make the parts??

the Legend is one of Ironhorses standard series bikes. It has the 111 polished motor, and many more "upgraded" features. the Judge is part of a low budget line of bike Ironhorse tried to push out. Don't know much about them, except that they are obviously a lower budget bike.
Ironhorse has had many problems with the digital speedos, but the later ones are much better then the older ones. They sometimes have electrical/ignition problems also.
Those prices are too high.

I would definately go with the Ledgend over the Judge. They have been on the floor for three years, so plan on keeping which ever one you buy. I would go with a chopper that has a Baker transmission. Beware Iron horse used the cheapest no name transmissions they could find. www.tennesseemotorsports.com has plenty of Iron horses they would love to dump.
