a whole welth of other things. the first plan is going to find out what she likes! that makes a huge diff... here is the bike i built for my wife... it was her first bike so she got what she was comfortable on, it is a virago 250, since it has been built i have done a bunch of performance upgrades, this sucker will cruise at 95mph all day, it is light and she is totally confortable on it, so much that now she rides a 1100 VTX, my rockets, anything she wants...
i had her help me on all the design work, she picked out the powder, came up with the ideas... i just made them happen. she loved it so much that she and i are building her a cafe racer right now out of a CB500. the bike is for your girl man, have her help you with it
either way if you need any help just ask!

Since you're modifying it for her, the most important imput should come from her. Like a low seat that moves you forward a bit. lowering front and rear. forward controls/pegs she likes.Handle bars that fit her riding style....

My son built this bike from the ground up. He is a machinest and made some of the parts, like the extra wide triple trees. It has an S&S 113 cubic inch engine, and most of the parts came off of e-bay. Not a bobber, but what he wanted, and he did it for about a third of the cost of what he could of bought one for. He also did the paint with ghost flames and all. He has around 7,000 miles on it now, and it rides out really nice. He really enjoyed the build about as much as he does riding it.

Funny you posted this thread, because I to was inspired by Brass ***** bobbers. Particularly their tattoo bike.
I mess around with photoshop a lot and I like to make renders of things before I set them in stone.
Being my handle name on here is warcowboy, I actually am a cowboy so to speak, so naturally I wanted something themed towards my life style.
Anyhow here is something for you guys to look at, laugh at, what ever.
The original
My retake
And finally, a alternate version using a modified rocker styled tank

I was thinking of building a bobber a couple years down the road myself. Wish I could make a move now. Look what I found. I think that's a pretty good deal.
