ahh man this this is so comfortable... got the riding possition right where i want it!... got the oil cooler mounted up, new fittings done to run the oil strait out and not down.... tied that back and moved the cooler back behind... still will get plenty of air flow and is out of way of your foot... the lines are above where hte chain passes and there is a guard under there for them as well... these lines will of course be wrapped in the chrome wrap... also did a mock up of what i am going to do on the exaust.. simple and clean, ill wrap the header pipe in white wrap...

few changes... going to bend brass oil cooler lines.. much cleaner, and not going to wrap the pipes, will just clean up the chrome an make some heat shields where i have to make the small pipe that will conect the header to the muffler.

Killer project Joe - and thanks for posting such great progress pics. I love seeing projects like this come together. That little bike should be a ton of fun when your finished, can't wait to see how it comes out.

It's look'n good Joe. How close are those pipes from your frame down tubes? They look mighty close but there's not a very good pic to tell for sure. If they are close enough you are gonna have problems with the heat on that light colored powder. Just a thought.

ooohhhh did not even think of that! i may have to wrap them... ooh any ideas? it is about 1 in from the down tubes... think that is enough... the frame is powdered in eastwoods bronze with a dry mix flake and have a ultra clear over it... i am about to start designing my exhaust... you tell me what you think... do you feel that the 1 in is enough away or not? bear in mind the header pipe should not get over 400 with any luck!
