Looks awesome Joe! Good score on the motor. If you make the run down to Florida again next summer, stop by my place and hook up my scoot too!

Check with Sudco. They had a complete engine gasket kit for an 82 Zuki I was working on. The whole kit was only $100.

here!

http://www.dansmc.com/gaskets.htm

he explains how to make your own gasket. i never buy them anymore, i buy sheets of material (different material for different kinds of gaskets! remember that! they are not all the same!)

and it takes a combination of scissors hole punches and tapping/drawing the shape out.

ive rebuilt an ENTIRE engine with gaskets made from a cereal box (thin cardboard, it is solid and has no air pockets like box cardboard.)

the engine in that 2500cc scooter is still running great today with no leaks and no gasket sealer.

however i do suggest you use a sealer like permatex The Right Stuff, best stuff you can possibly use in place of a real gasket, and in most cases its better than a paper gasket!

edit i looked at your pictures, it looks like the person before you already rebuilt the engine once before with their own homemade gaskets! haha, keep tradition alive!
