Default Ergonomic Handgrips

Anyone ever use those ergonomic handgrips... the ones that have "humps" on the front and back? How do they do on longer trips as far as easing grip numbness?

they help some.
what kind of handlebar bushings do you have?
I was using some poly ones with no problems, but after changing handlebars they buzzed so bad I could hardly hold on. Switching back to rubber bushings made a huge difference. can't imagine using solid bushings.

My bushings are the nylon kind, not too mushy and they do help with vibration. I was just wondering if these grips offer any advantages over the throttle boss levers. Right now I have foam rubber grips with the throttle lever and it works OK. I've also considered the thumb screw kind... anyone use those?

I've used the Kuryakyn iso grips with throttle boss, they are ok. try rubber bushings. they are cheap and easy to change. if you don't like them, switch back. loosen both bolts, then remove one. rotate bars/risers enough to change one side, then put the bolt back in loosely. repeat for other side, tighten both up.

My last Harley had rubber bushings and Kuryakyn grips with throttle boss and it was OK but I couldn't stand that mushy feeling and after a while my right hand would still start going to sleep. So, I guess what we are saying is the ergo grips don't really help a lot with that? And the sleepy right hand is more a function of the bushings?
