Default Need some help fitting a new rear fender

Hey guys,

Take a look at this fender I'm going to buy....it fits on a wide-drive frame - mine is a pro-one frame with a wide tire kit which supports a 180 rear tire. My concern is not being able to fit the fender with the ignition control module which is bolted to the frame and sits just below my seat. Should I cut a section of the fender out so I can make the two fit, or can the control module sit on top of the fender frame and under the seat without any problems?

That is hard to tell without putting the fender on. That's the fun of customs, if you like the fender go for it. You can always move the ignition module, or replace the ignition system with one like mine (see link) and sell your old one on ebay.

I have one and love it. Very easy to wire up.

I have used that fender and you can either buy the box seprate or build a box. Be carful with welding on it they are easy to warp or twist. Just a heads up if you have not welded a fender before.

As it is now, the module sits right on top of the rear fender. Would it be a problem to set up the fender in the same way? I don't have a box on my current rear fender that the module sits in. It sits on an angle on top of the front portion of the fender. As long as the seat doesn't interfere, would I have any problems with it?
