Hallo Shovhd, heir is a photo of the Fender medallion i had made, it was cast in silver & then gold plated , if you want one let me know and ill send you a private mail with the price bottom is the gold plated Fender Medallion

Looks very good. Is the material soft enough to slightly bend it to fit the fender curve? What size is the thread post on back, small enough to fit through the stock hole in the fender?

Hi mrlexus i am going to instal the fender medallion on today first aim going to use an other fender to slightly bend the pin then put it on my FXWG , ill be sure to post a picture of it when iam done. the threads on the back are 5mm, so my hole in the fender will be a little more than double the size of the original hole, i am not sure how the original medallion was secured but with such a small hole ( 2.1mm ) i think it has just a post on the back and it was secured with a speed nut.

Ok folks , goter DONE !!! such a simpel thing, but un the end its all the little details that make the FXDG such a cool bike, thanks to mrlexus for the photos, shovhd for the measurements on the placement and to my Friend Armin for making the reproduction of the Medallion... Re-po Fender Medallion , any one needing one can PM , and ill see what we can work out !!

oh no, I've still got a lot of work to do just getting to the small stuff while i am waiting on the motor, i sent out the exhaust for coating and when thats done i can put the primary together then the oil tank and lines i still need to think about the primary drive too. ill be sure to post pics as i go...

almost done needs another pinion gear..
ok folks heirs a photo of my motor as of yesterday (24 March) its taken a little longer than expected but it should be completed this coming week...
