Tin primary says it's earlier than '65. Those bags, if bought with the bike should narrow the year model down as they were offered only a couple years, but I can't remember what years.
my dad forgot..it's been along time between mine and his.he did say it was a early 60's .lsiten to this he traded it for a motor rebuild on his mack b61 tractor..nnnnnnnnnooooooooooooooooooo!!!i guess we had to eat.
it looks like it could be a duo-glide saw one for sale at the indy and it looks about the same if there was a view of the front i coud tell you more but theres not so i'll stick with duo glide till someone tells me i'm wrong
Too bad you don't have a couple of more close-ups; it would narrow it down. The white bags were first used in 1959 but could be retrofitted to 1958 models. Ironhead got it right, it is definitely a Duo-Glide. 1958 was the first year the Motor Complany offered the swing arm frame (which from the pics is easy to tell). Would need better pics to tell a lot more (tank emblem pics could really be a help), but I thing you can narrow to a 58-64 year and definitely an FL or an FLH.
It is a duo glide. With the non stock tank and no emblems (on the tanks) it is impossible to tell. I had a 59. It could be an early 60's like your dad says.
great pictures looks like a norman rockwell that he did with kid and a old bike vey clasic. bet u wish u had the bike in the picture.
that would be me in the picture.don't laugh it was the sixties.you really can't see from the shot but he had a handpainted wolf in a tophat on the windshield
