Harley made the mtbikes from the eighties till 2000. They mostly made mt350s but later started making 500s after buying Armstrong (Armstrong mt500 drum brakes and kickstart only, harley disc brakes and electric start) UK and Canada had harley mt350s and Armstrong, Jordan and the US had harley mt500. The only reason it is considered the rarest model in the US is because in 98 the military switched to all diesel vehicles so they couldn't use the mt anymore and they were passed to the dealerships and in the past several years I have seen their price in the US rapidly increase up to $15,000 while you can get one in Europe for $1200
