Default CV carb part number

Can anyone tell me what carb I have it has a part number

27498-96A , this is one that I found and was wondering what its off of , I need a new carb for my 1990 EVO 1340

thanks for any help .

A quick internet search shows that carb is from a Sportster, and it is a California only carb, meaning that the factory only put these carbs on bikes sold in Ca.

It will work fine, it may be jetted a bit leaner than a regular carb.
Just swap the jets out from your old carb.

Question...why do you need to replace your carb if you already have a CV type carb on the bike?
