I didn't know the previous owner of my '06 dyna didn't reuse the throttle and idle ring clips when he changed cables. The cables will sometimes come out of the housing while riding, causing the throttle to drag/stick because the cable comes off of the guide and on to the bar. The dealer told me the rings would simply snap into place when the cable ends are pushed into the housing but, that isn't happening. The rings are coming out of the recess and sliding down the shaft.
Can anyone give me a solution to this annoying situation?
