Default Is the Petcock worth it?

So I need to replace my Petcock valve. Since I am new to the carb bikes I was a little shocked to see the price difference in Petcock valves. Stock was $20, which flows war another $100 on top. A few questions, Are they worth it, and if I did go with one of them would I need to rejet the carbs or do anything else along with it?

I've only used stock and Pingel. Pingel are not cheap, but if you see one in the hand you will see they are things of great beauty, almost too good to use! If you don't want to spend much, get a new stock one - it will still work!
