Default What the hell did I do this time....

Stage 1. 88ci. I decided to wash/clean in and around the air filter and plate assembly because it was oily throughout from a previously replaced rocker box gasket. Took everything apart down to even removing the breather bolts from the heads. The 2 small breather tubes were the only thing needing to be replaced as they were rotted and cracked through. Everything went back together fine BUT: after the bike warms up for 3 minutes or so, white-ish smoke is coming from (pouring out of) the air intake area and the cylinders seem to be getting VERY hot. I can't see exactly where the smoke is coming from, but there is alot of it. I shut it down, unscrewed everything and put it all back. Same results. NOTHING was changed except for the breather tubes (replaced with identical HD brand) which dump hot air from the rocker boxes back into the air intake. Bike ran 100% before the cleaning. Any ideas?

Did you get some water trapped somewhere? White smoke is usually water. How is it running?

It runs fine. I started it without the AC to pull into garage. You don't think it would've adjusted the air/fuel ratio by itself without the cleaner on in such a short time, so with the cleaner on, it is running waaay too rich and heating up and smoking the way it is?
