I have a question. How long do you keep the enrichener open during warmup? I've had a fouling problem and have started using the throttle lock after a few seconds.
I'm in SoCal so I don't experience too many very cold weather starts, but I do the same thing. Leaving the choke on too long, as it delivers less air and more fuel, can foul your plugs. Basically I use the choke just to get the motor to fire but only leave it on for about ten seconds or so. After that it's all throttle control.
I pop the throttle once or twice and them pull the choke out as I'm hitting the start button, after it starts up the choke is only on for 10-15 seconds at tops.
All the way out when I fire it up then drop it to half within a couple of seconds and leave it a half till I get to the end of my neighborhood at the main road. If it is warm then I shut if off when I start rolling.

If I leave mine on that long I'll foul plugs and I don't understand why. For 8 years I've never had this problem. Since using the lock after a few seconds the fouling has stopped. Have already cleaned, jetted and adjusted mixture. I'm confused

Only think I can think of is you are a bit too rich.
Of course I only do that when it is in the low 30's. Other then that it is just a few seconds and I am on the throttle rolling.
