I have a 08 FXD. I have a tank from an 08 fat bob that I want to put on my bike. The problem is that the speedo concole for the fatbob as the ingition switch on the concole. I want to use a speedo concole from the FXDB which as the same ignition set-up as the FXD. The top plates on the tanks are different and so are the console mounting bracket on the top of the plate. Is there any way to modify the fatbob top plate to accept the console for the FXDB?
