stock CV carb limitations
What are the limitations as far as horsepower or engine size for the stock CV carb. What i'm asking is at what point are u just beating a dead horse. I'm gonna do a 95 or a 98 over the winter with an Andrews 37 cam and wondering if this is something i can add later or put off my build until I get a carb?

The CV carb will handle a 95 or 98 with no problems. You can also polish the throat and slide for a bit more flow and there are places that will rework your CV carb to perform better too.Proper jetting and other CV tricks like spacing/lifting the needle will make a noted difference too. Advantages to replacement are a bit crisper throttle response, hardly worth the cost IMO.
