Hi! I've searched the threads and didn't find the answer....

I have an 03 Low Rider, stock engine, carb... Noticed that recently its a little sluggish after warming up and no choke...

But, today.... I went to crank it and a HUGE amount of oil+gas mixture pumped out of both of the breather tubes in the carb. I loosened the gas cap thinking too much pressure and tried again. Same thing. Each time, approx. a 1/2 cup of mixed gas and oil comes pumping out. It will not start and can't think of what may have happened. Got new premium gas and recent synthetic oil change. Oil level is fine, not overfull.

Any ideas???? Thanks in advance.

 

Not to sure on the newer bikes . Is the engine cc vent hooked up to carb backing plate if so disconnect it and try starting the bike again if oil pukes out the breather hose the the problem is in your oil pump check valve not the carb
