Default CV Recalibration kit differences?

I installed CV Performance's Deluxe kit last year (Deluxe Kit) and then I was looking at Cycle Pro's recalibration kit (Cycle Pro's). I'm noticing 3 main differences and I'm wondering what the difference is.

-CV Performance's emulsion tube has holes in a spiral pattern on it.
-Cycle Pro's has no holes.

-CV Performance has only one needle and is non height adjustable.
-Cycle Pro has 2 different needles at different sizes and they are height adjustable.

-CV Performance has one drill bit for the slide.
-Cycle pro has 2 drill bits.

Could someone explain the differences?

You don't need all that jazz with a stock motor.Just pull the plug on the a/f ratio back it out three turns, stick in the Sportster needle trick, you're good.

I put the CV performance kit in last year, I was just wondering what the differences in the 2 kits did. What's the sportster needle trick?
