cv carb rebuild

Im rejetting a cv carb off my 96 fatboy

any suggestions for me out there

should I also change to a shorter spring or lighter spring on the slide???I guess because i put vance and hines pipes on it and a hyper charger and now it chocks at mid range cruising speeds
