2020 Super Glide carb
My 2000 Super Glide has continual carb issues. I have had it rejetted, retuned several times to no avail. Put on V & H pipes and retuned it. Had bike shop retune it ... to no avail. It keeps backfiring like it is always getting too much gas. Use hi octane gas only ..... so what is involved to install efi system? What is cost to convert? Or maybe better off to get different bike. THanks for any input.

'06 was last year for carburetors, earlier than that on some models.
Several things can cause your symptoms but a more detailed description would help narrow it down more quickly.
Does it all the time? how well does it start? is the air cleaner original or aftermarket? And is this the original CV carb?

The vacuum line between the carb and the petcock is leaking. If you can't tune the carb with the low speed needle, this is your problem.
The line can actually test good and still be bad, your going to have to put a plug on the carb fitting and hook up a different source of fuel to test it. No need to actually ride the bike, a static test will show this.
