I am replacing the fuel line from tank to carb. Currently the hose size is 1/4" id. It was replaced many years ago, but may have been an undersized piece of hose I had laying around.
1/4 or 5/16 ? What is typical?

I have a 3/8" fuel line on my bike. not sure what the ID is but i just go to AutoZone and tell them i want a foot of 3/8" fuel line and it works great.

 

I am running a 5/16" on my S&S E Carburetor.

 

If you don`t know what the inside diameter is, then you don`t know what the hose size is....

I replaced my rotted hose with 5/16 id, getting it through the grommet on the backbone was a PITA
But that's what was on it, so that's what I used to replace it.
