27412-99c Carburetor
I have a 2002 Electra glide classic, I don’t have the time or patience to do a rebuild on my carburetor. So I’ve been looking to just replace it with another and finding mostly 27421-99c instead of 27412-99c.
Can anyone tell me what the difference is?
Also, what other replacement carbs would work as good and fit straight in.
Thanks.

I will break it down properly when I have more time. It doesn’t idle right, back fires some, can’t get it dialed in right. I have a family member who just bought a bike and I need to get riding. I just thought of putting in a new one now and rebuild mine later. But the only new ones I could find have a slightly different serial number.

I agree rebuilding the carb will take time and try the patience, but so will fitting a new carb and dialing it in.
Your old carb is a good one and I'll assume worked well at one time.
Me , I would rebuild and replace intake seals as they could actually be part of the problem you are having now (intake air leak)

No carburetor will work correctly on your bike if the intake o-rings and/or intake grommet has leaks. Period.

I will definitely rebuild my original carb also.
