Default need help identifying part

Can someone tell me what the hell this is? I've been searching all over the place and jp cycles hasn't been much help. Im assuming the bolts on either side of the carburetor are breather bolts, I broke the very left one in half and need to either find a replacement or upgrade to a new system. Im just not sure what the purpose of these parts are.

Looks like a homemade breather setup, to vent to the atmosphere ...cant see where it drains to. hopefully a catch can or filter if some type, it would be a shame to go tbrough all that and have it feed back into the intake

.it feeds into the intake unfortunately, no wonder my air intake looks terrible. Is there a replacement that anyone could recommend?

Thank you, id prefer to get a breather that isn't homemade though, just my preference. To be honest, I had no clue what any of this did or what it was until a couple days ago, but its all coming together now.
