My sister in laws bike 27000 miles, she has had it for about 5 years. Cranks and I can ride it , it runs good as long as I'm giving it gas, but as soon as I try to let it idle it stalls....
I am sure it's probably some gum in the carburetor ...any help, ideas, suggestions on what to look for.
I know I need to take it off the bike and clean the jets and the needle valve, anything else?

 

Anyone? usually people chime in a lot quicker...

 

If it was me/my bike, I'd table & re-build the carb w/new kit. If it sat that long, too much gunk/varnish build-up. Has the bike ever had carb/jet work in the past?

 

Not that I know of.
