Hey Bros.I have one of these carbs on a 62 Pan.The bike sat for a few years while I was ill and I had it rebuilt last year but didn't try to start it till this year.It started fairly easy but the problem is this:As the bike is running and up to temp.I snap the throttle and it dumps fuel big time and it will stall if I don't let off of the throttle.Can anyone help me on this one?

I'm not an expert, but I've been playing around with the Super E on the 73 FLH that I bought a couple of months ago. I would start by checking the accelerator pump. Google search S&S Super E adjustments. There is a pretty good quick tuning guide. I would also post your question in the classic section of this forum. Lots of guys there that have a lot of info on these carbs. Good luck.

 

If it has been setting with fuel in it for that time, a good cleaning in carb cleaner for 24-36 hrs would be our suggestion.
Accelerator pump at 3 turns out for starters.
