T-25 or T27 torx ? 883 Sporty To remove the stupid air cleaner element?
I dont want to go buy a whole set just to remove an air cleaner assy.

Try a T27 and if it won't fit then try a T25. The torx should fit snugly.

Go buy a set, you're gonna need them for more projects down the road. Good to have than have not, jmo...

Cheer up, you'll find other sizes around your bike, so just go and buy a set, but check they come with a T27, as cheap sets don't always have it.
